Ramsgate Glass Centre

Ramsgate Glass Centre, was started by the late John Cox in 1965. He worked at first out of a van and his shed. The shop at 118-122 King Street, Ramsgate was opened 24 years ago. Son Kevin joined the business in 1978. Younger brothers Phil and Anthony joined later and Kevin's son Tom now manages the shop. A further branch was opened fifteen years ago in Dover. Early in 2009 the Cox brothers opened a local factory where they carry out polishing, bevelling and drilling. They also make lead lights and stained glass on the premises. Anthony is in charge of the double-glazing side of the business.
This is very much a 'family' business. 01843-592938, 118-122 King Street, Ramsgate CT11 8PA
