Youth Focus Group.

In the past ERA’s Youth Focus Group provided activities for young people on the Eastcliff, and worked with local organisations such as the Thanet Coast Project, IOTA Arts, The Children’s Society and the local Police Force.
One of our first projects was a series of arts and crafts sessions , followed by one-off trips to undertake activities chosen by the children including ice-skating, football, paintballing, seal watching and a fun day on the beach.
Our energies were focussed on an allotment project at Cecilia Road allotments in Ramsgate. Around fifteen children aged 8-16 years were involved in growing leeks, rhubarb, broad beans, pumpkins, courgettes, aubergines and a variety of flowers. And we hoped to put up a greenhouse.
However nothing is now happening and we are desperately looking for volunteers to help run and organise these activities. If you would like to get involved please contact us.
